Terms of Service

1. Agreement

1.1. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and RENVAR INC., a corporation incorporated in Ontario, Canada ("MEXUM", "we", "us") governing your use of mexum.pro, app.mexum.pro and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, submitting a document or otherwise using the Service you accept these Terms. If you act on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. The Service

2.1. MEXUM provides online, AI-assisted review of construction design and cost documents, including cost estimates, design packages and contracts, and delivers a conclusion with findings and references to codes and standards of the region you select.

2.2. The Service is an independent informational pre-check. It is not a plan review, a statutory expert examination, an engineering or legal opinion, or professional advice (see the Disclaimer).

3. Accounts

3.1. You must provide accurate registration data and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3.2. You must be at least 18 years old.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: upload documents you have no right to share; upload unlawful or malicious content; attempt to access other users' data; reverse engineer, scrape or overload the Service; or use the Service to build a competing product.

5. Your documents

5.1. You keep all rights in the documents you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process and analyze them, including by AI providers acting on our behalf, solely to deliver the Service to you.

5.2. We do not use your documents to publicly promote the Service. Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Results and reliance

6.1. Results depend on the completeness and quality of what you submit and may contain errors or omissions. You must evaluate them independently and involve licensed professionals where required.

6.2. Cost-saving figures, examples and timelines shown on the site are illustrative and are not a guarantee of any outcome.

7. Fees and payment

7.1. Prices are shown in your account in US dollars unless stated otherwise and may be changed for future purchases. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider.

7.2. Refunds are available as stated at the time of purchase or where required by mandatory law.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, algorithms and content (other than your documents) belong to RENVAR INC or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.

9. Confidentiality

We treat your documents as confidential and use reasonable measures to protect them, as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RENVAR INC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profit or data, or for decisions made on the basis of the results. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or mandatory consumer rights in your country.

12. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be submitted to the courts of Ontario sitting in Toronto, except that mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence continues to apply. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith by contacting us through the envelope icon in the footer of this site (the Operator's e-mail address).

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by e-mail; continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
